Join New York City chefs in giving healthcare workers a locally-cooked, free meal to enjoy at the end of their long days battling coronavirus.
It's our small way of saying thank you, and we appreciate you.
Our mission is to connect New Yorkers from different communities to provide an easy, yet impactful service to those in our neighborhoods who are fighting Covid-19 on the frontlines. With all of your support, we will give local, fresh, free meals to doctors, nurses, and all other medical support staff.
WHAT WILL YOUR MONEY PROVIDE?
We will be featuring incredible chefs from throughout the five boroughs. Each chef will aim to prep about 100 meals per day.
The goal is to keep the cost of 1 meal under $5. Donate $10 and feed 2 healthcare heroes!
All donations will go towards the cooking, preparing, and delivering of meals, as all NYC Chefs are working on a volunteer basis. We will be posting a spreadsheet with our receipts and invoices on our About page.
Each prepared meal will be balanced and locally-made, with one on-the-go item.
The delivered meals will feature 1 Protein, 1 Starch, and 1 Vegetable. They will be Magnesium Rich, Vitamin C/Antioxidant Rich, and importantly, reheatable for all healthcare workers. We hope this grub will be easy, simple, and sustainable.
